Fee to pay
If you have to pay a customs charge or underpaid mail fee, you can do this online, in person or by mail.
- You’ve been sent an item from overseas, and there are customs or VAT charges from HM Revenue and Customs to pay.
- You’ve received a Royal Mail card saying you need to pay the charges before you can collect the item or have it delivered.
- You can pay the fee in person at your local Delivery Office and collect the item immediately. Remember to bring one form of identification. You can find out where your local Delivery Office is by calling us on 08456 050767.
-
You can pay the fee online, and then either collect the item or arrange a redelivery. We need 48 hours notice for a redelivery.
Although not the quickest option, you can attach stamps to the value of the charge to the card and post it to the address on the card. We’ll then send the item to you.
